What We Fancy

In the late 1960s, the Zenith El Primero was released with its revolutionary self-winding chronograph movement. One of the more important moments in horological history. It was the first automatic chronograph to be made, or so they say, but the El Primero remains an icon to this day with little to no change. Many don’t know that during this time, Movado was fitted with the same automatic movement as they were owned by the same parent company as Zenith. This example dates to 1970 and features a stunning reverse panda dial, original bracelet, & tonneau-style case.
